What is it?

This is a four week playground exploration for actors!

We will meet once each week for four weeks. Each class will have a specific pillar of The Alexander Technique that we will explore both on its own and in its relationship to the craft of acting (in and out of song). Each class will build upon the previous classes - culminating in the exploration of a piece of your choosing!

Take the industry out of the picture and get back to the roots of your creativity.

What will we do?

Throughout the four weeks we will explore:

• what the Alexander Technique is and HOW it relates to acting

• how to more cohesively dance with our breath

• how we embody ourselves and whether that helps or hinders the character

• how thought affects action

• the power of a pause

• everyone will have the chance to work on a song or monologue

This four week workshop is $250 per registrant. Payment plans are available.
